Writer, actor and Emma Thompson pal Stephen Fry has had a fervent cult following for ages, having appeared in Jeeves and Wooster and Black Adder II in the UK.

Fry is about to become even more familiar to worldwide audiences. He'll be appearing this Christmas in Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows as Holmes' brother Mycroft, and Peter Jackson just announced he'll be joining the cast of The Hobbit as the Master of Laketown!
