S.A.M.C.R.O. 6-inch: Mezco does Sons!!!

The New York International Toy Fair is still a week away, but Mezco had their own little advance peak recently, revealing their new series of Sons of Anarchy figures. First up are two different versions of Jax Teller and Clay Morrow - in both their riding cuts and prison jumpsuits.

These 6-inch figures look to be similar to what they've done with their Breaking Bad license - nice sculpting, but more statue-like, with no articulation, similar to what we just saw with those Game of Thrones figures from Dark Horse. Is this a trend? It's undoubtedly cheaper to produce, but with NECA upping their game so much these last couple of years, it's hard to believe statue figures will be ruling the roost entirely. Still, these are a nice start - though I have to wonder what they'll do with a Gemma Teller figure...

I guess we'll just have to wait and see what shows up at Toy Fair - hoping for plenty of gasps and surprises to be revealed - can't wait!!! Click the pics below to embiggen:
